We work hard to make DogCity listings as accurate and up to date as possible. Our database is built through a combination of hands-on verification by our team and real input from the DogCity community. We believe this makes DogCity one of the most carefully verified dog-friendly databases available.
We verify places through a mix of direct checks and in-person research. Depending on the venue, this can include visiting the location, calling ahead, speaking directly with management or staff, and using our team and ambassadors to confirm dog-friendly policies and details before a place is listed or updated.
Yes. Wherever possible, our team personally checks venues rather than relying only on public information. That may mean visiting a location, contacting the business directly, or asking our ambassadors to verify what the experience is actually like for dog owners.
Yes. DogCity is community-led as well as team-verified. Feedback from dog owners helps us spot changes quickly, flag inaccuracies and keep listings useful in the real world. Community insight is a big part of what helps keep the platform relevant and trustworthy.
Yes. Even with careful verification, venues can change their dog policies, opening hours, menu options or access rules. That is why DogCity combines direct verification with ongoing community feedback and regular updates. We still recommend checking directly with the venue before visiting if something is especially important to your trip.

Yes. DogCity offers free features for all users. Some features may also be available through a paid Premium subscription.
Offers and discounts
DogCity features offers from selected third-party brands, venues and service providers. Each offer may have its own eligibility rules, expiry date and redemption instructions, so make sure to check the details shown in the app before using it.
Not always. Unless we clearly say otherwise, brands featured in the offers section are independent third parties. DogCity may promote or display their offers, but DogCity is not the seller or supplier of their products or services.
In most cases, questions about a specific offer need to be resolved directly with the brand running the promotion. If you think there is an issue with how the offer was shown in the app, you can also contact DogCity support.
Discovering places and support
You can use DogCity to browse and discover dog-friendly places based on your location and the information available in the app.
If you spot something that looks wrong, out of date or inappropriate, please report it through the app if that option is available, or contact DogCity support directly so our team can review it.
Account and privacy
You can manage your account details in the app settings. If you would like to delete your account and cannot find the option in the app, please contact DogCity support for help.
